Onion import suspension in the Philippines extended

The Philippines has decided to prolong the halt on onion imports until at least July, as confirmed by Agriculture Minister Francisco Tiu Laurel. Initially, the suspension was put in place from January to May, aiming to safeguard local farmers from the competition of imported onions.
