Despite the fact that fresh blueberry shipments continue to increase, they are still below the previous year. Last week, exports of the product totaled 2.160 tons, which was 47% less than the same week last year. With this, so far in the 2023/2024 campaign, shipments have totaled 9.816 tons, 28% less compared to the 13.576 tons dispatched in the same period of the previous campaign (2022/2023).
This week, the Peruvian blueberry reached 21 destinations, of which 3 concentrated 86% of all shipments: the United States (36% share), China (30%) and the Netherlands (20%).
