According to the information shared in the July 2022 bulletin of the Office of Agricultural Studies and Policies (Odepa), Chile exported a total of 1.82 million tons of fresh fruit worth 3,899 million FOB dollars during the first half of 2022. Exports increased by 8.3% in volume and 8.4% in value over the same period of the previous year.

The main species exported in the first six months of the year was cherry. The main destination market was China, as 90% of Chilean cherry exports were sent to that country.

The main buyer in this period was the United States, accounting for 48% of the total value of Chilean table grape exports, followed by China (with 14%).

Blueberry ranked third as the country shipped 90,000 tons for 401.9 million FOB dollars, registering a year-on-year 6% decrease in volume and 17% fall in value. The fruit was mainly sent to the United States (47%) and the Netherlands (22%).
