Camposol celebrates the arrival of the first Peruvian blueberries of the export campaign to China

On June 27, the first shipment of blueberries from Camposol, which had left Peru at the end of May, arrived at the Chinese port of Shekou. 6 days later, on July 3, the Peruvian firm and its partner Shanghai Pengsheng Industrial Co. Ltd. formally marked the beginning of the 2022/2023 Peruvian blueberry season in China with a product opening ceremony at the Gaobeidian Xinfadi Fruit & Vegetable Trading Center.

"Camposol continues to invest and work to bring the best products from Peru to the world and we are convinced that it is an excellent starting point for this 2022-2023 campaign. This first shipment is not only important for the company, but for the country,” stated Harold Mongrut, general manager of operations in Peru.

The shipment is of the Ventura variety, a blueberry native to the Americas and one of the main varieties currently grown in the country.
