Average wholesale prices of bananas imported from Latin America stand at €101 per 100 kgs in the Netherlands, roughly the same as the prices in Austria and Portugal.
In France, they sold for slightly more at €113 per 100 kgs, but prices in Germany were substantially higher, at €123. The average wholesale price of yellow bananas stood at €103 in Hungary and €125 in Romania.
