Ropa Fahrzeug-und Maschinenbau GmbH takes over the exclusive sales of storage technology from Bijlsma Hercules all over Germany (with the exception of Schleswig-Holstein) with immediate effect. Thanks to the collaboration with the Dutch specialist in the field of storage, grading and processing technology, customers benefit from high-quality storage technology and the associated support from Ropa's well-developed sales and service network.
In the redesigned showroom of the Ropa Rheinland branch in Viersen, customers will be able to view and test machines for various storage technologies in addition to potato harvesters and haulm toppers. Various storage and used machines from Ropa and Bijlsma Hercules will also be exhibited. A large number of high-quality service parts are stored in Ropa Rheinland's central warehouse at the Viersen location and dispatched as required.
This collaboration enables Ropa to expand their product range for professional use in potato harvesting. In addition to the well-known Keiler models for gentle potato harvesting, Ropa now offers customers innovative storage technology for potatoes. This means that the harvested potatoes can be carefully cleaned, graded and stored with a minimal work load. The similar corporate philosophy of the two family businesses Ropa and Bijlsma Hercules with regard to quality standards, innovative strength, employee and customer loyalty provide a very good basis for a successful collaboration.
Bijlsma Hercules has been family-run since 1938 and provides storage, grading and processing technology for professional customers. The expertise not only relates to potatoes, but also to onions and other tuberous crops.
