Brazilian visit to LBP

When LBP Rotterdam BV started 26 years ago as a logistics service provider in the fruit and vegetable sector, Brazil was the country the first containers came from. Today, Brazil is still the most important country of origin of the products shipped to LBP, with mango as a major front runner and limes, papaya, grapes and ginger - in random order - soon following.

This week the NEC, Dutch Export Combination, has a large group of Brazilian companies and government representatives visiting the Netherlands, including the President of the Ceara Region in Brazil, but also representatives of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign and Dutch Agriculture Council in Brasilia Bert Rikken .

"A great opportunity to introduce these companies and delegation members to the company and the services of LBP," said Anton Filippo." An almost 20-person strong group visited the site in Maasdijk yesterday and received a presentation about the journey from then to the present of the service provider. Subsequently, a tour was given through the facilities including a visit to the production department. introduce the delegation to various packaging lines such as for blueberries and oranges, but also to the various heat seal lines, ripening chambers, etc.
