As part of the Avocado Forum that was held in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, last week, members of the Mexican delegation visited logistic service provider LBP in Maasdijk on Thursday. After Anton Filippo’s presentation in the Schiehuis in Rotterdam during the meeting on Monday morning, part of the group was interested in getting to see LBP’s facilities.
Interest in visiting the ripening chambers was higher than average as well, and people were particularly interested in going through the process with ripening expert Niels van Hassel.
Anton Filippo of LBP talked extensively about the way LBP works for their overseas customers, with particular care being paid to which services are part of the extensive range.
It was an additional surprise to the group that LBP also packs (flowpacking, netting, heat-sealing and more).
The delegation naturally also had questions, and after being painted a clear picture of everything the logistic service provider has to offer, they left for the next destination in their full and busy programme.
