The Director of Sales in Europe and Asia of the Chilean Fruit Export Association (ASOEX) stated that "the main driving forces of Chilean stone fruit export to China are the nectarine and the plum (which includes Japanese plums and European plums). There are several product varieties and each variety has its own flavor. This is why we cooperate with Kuaima Fresh Kitchen." Consumers on the scene of one of the promotional activities are able to taste such plum varieties as Dapple Delight, Friar Black, and Fortune, or nectarine varieties like Majestic, Bright Pearl, and Arctic Fire.

The Chilean consul of commercial affairs in Shanghai stated: "As commercial consul in Shanghai I witness the successful promotion of Chilean cherries and blueberries in China, and it makes me proud. The next step for us is the promotion of Chilean stone fruit. Chile was again the greatest exporter of fruit to China in 2018, which is largely a result of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between Chile and China that includes zero tariffs."
