The Peruvian Association of Mango Producers and Exporters (APEM) will host the 24th International Peruvian Mango Congress on October 23 and 24, 2025, a date that coincides with the organization's 25th anniversary. The event will take place at the facilities of the Asociación de Criadores y Propietarios de Caballos de Paso de Piura, a key mango-growing region in Peru.
This congress, an important event for the Peruvian agro-export sector, will gather producers, exporters, importers, researchers, and company representatives involved in the fresh and processed mango value chain.
For the first time, the event will feature an international panel with representatives from Latin America's five main mango-exporting countries: Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Brazil, and Costa Rica. This segment, called "Latin America Exports," will be moderated by Francisco Seva Rivadulla, a Spanish communication expert specializing in international trade. It will also include Mr. Ramón Ojeda, director of the National Mango Board (NMB), who will discuss future outlooks for the European and American markets.
Strategic importers and agro-exporting guild representatives are expected to attend, enhancing the global and collaborative nature of the meeting.
The program will include keynote speeches, technical talks, and specialized panels with both national and international experts discussing current sector challenges such as competitiveness, emerging markets, and technological innovations in handling and post-harvest processes.
At the same time, a fair will be held featuring an exhibition of companies that provide agricultural inputs, technology, logistics services, and solutions for agribusiness. This edition's format will concentrate all activities in one venue, making it easier for participants to exchange information and interact.
"The 2025 congress aims to establish a comprehensive meeting point for various actors in the mango industry, promoting technical and commercial discussions," said Carlos Iván Vílchez Peralta, president of APEM.
The congress will coincide with APEM's 25th anniversary celebration, an organization that has played a key role in developing the Peruvian mango industry and establishing it in major international markets.
