Uzbekistan exports $51M worth of sweet cherries and $18.8M worth of apricots in 2025

According to the National Statistics Committee, Uzbekistan exported 25,200 tons of sweet cherries to 17 countries between January and July 2025, generating $51 million in revenue.

The largest buyers of Uzbek cherries during this period were:

  • Russia: 18,200 tons;
  • Kazakhstan: 3,600 tons;
  • Kyrgyzstan: 2,700 tons;
  • Belarus: 232 tons;
  • Iraq: 127 tons;
  • UAE: 126 tons;
  • Latvia: 34 tons;
  • Other countries: 93 tons.

During the same seven-month period, Uzbekistan also exported 23,400 tons of apricots to 14 countries, worth $18.8 million.

Key apricot export destinations included:

  • Russia: 17,111 tons;
  • Kazakhstan: 4,256 tons;
  • Kyrgyzstan: 1,249 tons;
  • Ukraine: 305 tons;
  • Belarus: 218 tons;
  • Iraq: 142 tons;
  • Azerbaijan: 40 tons;
  • Poland: 39 tons;
  • Other countries: 86 tons.

Russia remained the dominant market for both sweet cherries and apricots, accounting for the overwhelming majority of exports.
