On September 23, 2025, the German Potato Trade Association (DKHV) will hold the 72nd International Autumn Potato Get-together in the Elbkuppel at the Hotel Hafen Hamburg. The event will bring together stakeholders from all stages of the value chain for professional exchange and presentations from participating companies.
The program will focus on current developments in the potato trade, economic outlooks, and challenges for an industry operating in an increasingly dynamic environment. With the 2025/2026 marketing season following a year of variable weather conditions, organizers expect a range of topics for discussion.

A panel discussion, "Transport in Transition – Challenges and Opportunities for the Potato Industry" (in German), will examine the future of transportation for the sector. Trade and logistics representatives will address the impact of rising energy prices, higher CO₂ costs, and skilled labor shortages, as well as the role of government support programs. The discussion will also consider measures to strengthen transport infrastructure in the long term and in a sustainable way.
The event will take place at the Hotel Hafen Hamburg, Seewartenstraße 9, 20459 Hamburg. Doors will open at 4:30 p.m., with the program starting at 5:00 p.m. Registration is available via QR code or online at www.herbstboerse.dkhv.org.
As in previous years, companies will be able to present their products and services during the event.
