SITEVI, the international trade fair for the vine, wine, fruit, and olive sectors, returns to the Parc des Expositions in Montpellier on November 25th, 26th, and 27th. Nearly 1,000 exhibitors and 55,000 visitors are expected. And for its 45th edition, the event has a partner of choice: CTIFL. Here is a sneak preview of what is in store at this year's show.

Conferences, new technologies, jobs...
As a platform for identifying market opportunities, exploring avenues for diversification and discovering concrete innovations, particularly through new digital solutions, SITEVI will be welcoming a large number of new exhibitors this year (from all sectors), as well as no fewer than 122 exhibitors from abroad (Italy, Spain, Germany, Portugal, Belgium, Netherlands, Turkey, Austria, Ireland), thus confirming its international dimension (Top 10 visiting countries: France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Tunisia, Portugal, Germany, Israel, United Kingdom, United States).
The program includes some 54 conferences and workshops led by experts on the challenges facing the wine, fruit, and olive-growing sectors. These events attract an average of 2,900 participants over 3 days. Simultaneous translation into English will be available at some of the conferences. Another SITEVI event is LAB TECH & New technologies (created in 2023) in partnership with Agri Sud Ouest Innovation, La Ferme Digitale, and La Wine Tech. This is an area where 15 companies will be showcasing their innovations, including Ombrea, which is developing agrivoltaic solutions for outdoor crops, and Mycophyto, which is developing soil regeneration solutions using mycorrhizal fungi. But SITEVI is also about employment: exhibiting recruiters will be able to post job, internship, and work-study offers in a dedicated area. There will also be a job dating session (last year's event attracted around 100 appointments, according to the organizers), with 15-minute interviews. Last but not least, there will be the SITEVI Innovation Awards, for innovations presented by exhibitors and selected by a panel of experts.

New partnership with CTIFL
In 2025, SITEVI will be working with the Centre Technique Interprofessionnel des Fruits et Légumes (CTIFL), which will be taking part in the program of conferences and masterclasses. According to Delphine Tailliez, deputy director general of CTIFL, "CTIFL's work is designed to provide practical support in optimizing resources, providing access to technologies, and deploying solutions tailored to the realities of the sector. SITEVI is a strategic event where the latest innovations are showcased. It embodies the changes taking place in the field and offers a unique platform for exchanges, fostering links between the fruit and vegetable and wine sectors and opening up new prospects for technical, agronomic, and strategic cooperation."
