This is a 12.9% increase from the previous season, when the average price was 0.93 euros per kilogram, according to a report by Hortoinfo based on data from the Andalusian Regional Government's Price and Market Observatory.

Pear tomatoes recorded the highest percentage increase (+32.2%), rising from 0.59 euros/kg last season to 0.78 euros/kg in the season that has just ended.

Smooth tomatoes also performed well with a 29.3% increase, going from 0.58 euros/kg last season to 0.75 euros/kg this season. Round tomato prices grew by 18.18%, from 0.66 euros/kg to 0.78 euros/kg.
