Lima will host the 2nd International Table Grape Congress (CIUM 2025), which will take place on August 13 and 14 at the ESAN Convention Center. The event will bring together producers, exporters, researchers, suppliers, technicians, and authorities involved in the table grape industry, a key sector for Peruvian agricultural exports.
CIUM 2025 is designed as a technical and strategic forum aimed at updating, analyzing, and projecting the table grape market within an increasingly competitive global landscape. Over two days, more than 50 national and international presentations will explore current challenges and future opportunities for the industry.
The program features thematic sessions covering agronomic management, crop protection, varietal development, nutrition, irrigation, post-harvest handling, traceability, and sustainability. Discussions will also focus on global consumption trends and operational aspects of logistics, including panels on ports, maritime transport, logistics efficiency, and access to international markets.
A key highlight of this edition will be the inclusion of discussion panels featuring representatives from various segments of the supply chain: producers, exporters, importers, logistics operators, and regulators. The aim is to foster a comprehensive and collaborative approach to the business.
Organized by the Association of Peruvian Table Grape Producers (Provid), the event seeks to serve as a platform for sharing technical knowledge, networking, and strategic reflection on the global positioning of table grapes.
