Dole reports strong operational performance and revenue growth

Dole plc has announced its financial results for the fourth quarter and full year ending December 31, 2024, highlighting strong operational performance and revenue growth. The Group reported $8.5 billion in full-year revenue, reflecting a 2.8% increase (6.7% on a like-for-like basis), with adjusted EBITDA rising to $392.2 million. Despite the positive momentum, a $78.2 million non-cash write-down of the Fresh Vegetables division impacted net income, resulting in a fourth-quarter net loss of $31.6 million. However, adjusted net income for the year grew by 2.4% to $120.9 million, with free cash flow reaching $180.3 million and net debt reduced by $181.1 million to $637.1 million.

The fourth quarter saw $2.2 billion in revenue, a 4.6% increase (10.1% on a like-for-like basis), demonstrating continued demand across Dole's product segments. CEO Rory Byrne emphasized that the company's strong operational execution and disciplined financial management have positioned it well for long-term growth, despite external challenges. Looking ahead, Dole remains focused on leveraging its global fresh produce supply chain and maintaining financial discipline to drive continued success.
