Chilean blueberry exports rise 11% in 2024-2025, with U.S. as top destination

The Chilean Fruit Blueberry Committee's Crop Report reveals that Chilean blueberry exports reached 83,321 tons in the 2024-2025 season, an 11% increase from the previous season but a 1% decrease from 2022-2023. By the fifth week, 8,018 tons were shipped globally, with the United States receiving 64%, the Netherlands 21%, and the United Kingdom 6%.

Initial projections for week 5 anticipated 75,367 tons, yet exports exceeded expectations by 10%. Of the total exports, 79,327 tons were transported by sea, marking a 15% rise, while air shipments decreased by 39%, totaling 2,552 tons.

To date, the United States has received 34,517 tons, the Netherlands 30,651 tons, the United Kingdom 5,665 tons, and South Korea 5,472 tons, with 7,016 tons distributed across various other countries.
