In New York Mills, Minnesota, a man has been sentenced to two years in prison for a 2022 burglary after being identified through a jug of orange juice. The incident occurred on August 5, 2022, when authorities responded to a burglary at a home on State Highway 106. Among the stolen items were a handgun and a jug of orange juice. The next day, a witness reported two men acting suspiciously and mentioned one carrying an orange juice jug. Investigators recovered the jug's cap at her residence, leading to the identification of 34-year-old Jordan Anco. Anco pleaded guilty to 3rd Degree Burglary earlier this year and was sentenced on November 18, 2024. His accomplice, 42-year-old Dustin Ayres, was sentenced in February.
