High-speed mango peeling machine makes debut

Next week, at Fruit Logistica Berlin, A.B.L. will unveil its latest peeling machine - the MP90 – designed specifically for mangoes. “Boasting a speed of up to 90 fruits per minute, this unit stands as the fastest available in the market,” the company shares in a release.

The model ensures labor cost savings, consistent quality, and efficiency. According to A.B.L, investing in their fruit processing systems enhances operational efficiency and ensures a significantly higher return on investment (ROI) compared to manual processing methods.

Given that the mango is a delicate fruit requiring meticulous attention and special handling during processing, a self-centering mechanism accurately centers and transfers the fruit between two mandrels, initiating a rotation process for effective peeling. The patented A.B.L. peeling head ensures gentle peeling, adapting to the fruit's shape and dimensions, with the flexibility to adjust the peeling depth. The peeled fruit is subsequently discharged onto a belt conveyor, maintaining separation from the skin to prevent cross-contamination.

A.B.L. invites attendees to visit their stand in Hall 2.1 – A-01 from February 7 – 9 to witness the unveiling of the MP90.
