Pre-owned processing lines for the sorting of citrus fruits

Spain's Fruit Graders has just taken over two production lines from a major Spanish citrus grower - and subsequently put them on sale. The lines include 8-channel sorters and packaging stations.

"The two lines are complete and can process all types of citrus fruits," says representative Leonardo Bigoni. The total capacity of each line is 80 tons per hour, and they can also be sold separately. The lines are equipped with the model Highway and with Optiscan 5" optical sorters.

Fruit Graders can provide a complete overhaul of the machines upon request and install them anywhere in the world.

The Italian company will be at the Fruit Logistica fair in Berlin (Hall 4.1 Stand D30). This is the place where the managers will be able to describe in detail how the activity is carried out. "The machines", says Bigoni, "are restored to a new state with an extraordinary maintenance that involves the replacement of all the components that are worn out and the replacement of the most obsolete ones. Before returning the machines to the market, we test them thoroughly to ensure their total efficiency."

"We buy used processing lines that are six to seven years old, and often ten years and older. In each case, our technicians disassemble them, fine-tune them to 100% efficiency, test them and ship them to the buyer," concludes Bigoni.
