Leading asparagus seedlings importer in Ukraine, registers three Guelph University hybrids

In a recent announcement on their Facebook page, LLC "AV LIHT", the foremost official importer of asparagus seedlings in Ukraine, revealed the successful completion of the registration process for three hybrid varieties of asparagus from the University of Guelph in Canada.

The registered hybrids, namely Guelph Eclipse, Guelph Equinox, and Guelph Millennium, are specifically tailored for the cultivation of green asparagus. According to the company, these hybrids boast impressive yields, promising lucrative returns for growers.

"In Ukraine, there is a notable absence of indigenous asparagus breeding and genetics. However, these plants thrive and bear fruit exceptionally well in our soil and climatic conditions," emphasised the company spokesperson.
