A limit has been set on how much some vegetables, including cucumbers and tomatoes, as well as apples, can increase in price

Prices for vegetables and fruits in Belarus will be regulated differently in 2024

This is outlined in Resolution No. 713 (4) by the Council of Ministers. According to the document, monthly limits on changes to producer prices are introduced. Thus, vegetables essential for traditional borscht, cucumbers, tomatoes, and seasonal apples can increase by a maximum of 3.5% compared to the same month in the previous year.

When raising producer prices within these limits, there is no need for coordination with government authorities.
