Boosting Green non-woven fabrics were designed by Soft NW to increase the production of biomass thanks to their special patented green color. The production technology means the non-woven fabric is isotropic, i.e. capable of withstanding breakage both longitudinally and transversally.

The green component of the visible light is withheld by the non-woven fabric, while the rest of the spectrum (blue, yellow and red peaks of energy) is filtered. Plants react in a different way depending on their "specific resilience", which is determined by an adaptive resistance to the private solar light of the green energy peak.
The "specific resilience" effect of the plants protected with green non-woven fabric generally manifests in an increase of the biomass produced. When it comes to phytopathology, a reduction and/or elimination of the diseases affecting the foliage is registered (downy mildew, powdery mildew, botrytis, bacterial diseases), as directly observed in the vineyards and leaf vegetable crops where tests were carried out in 2019.
