Diverse supporting program announced:

Fruchtwelt Bodensee focuses on and discusses diverse topics

Into the future together: Representatives of the fruit growing and agricultural sectors as well as the distillery industry will come together at Fruchtwelt Bodensee (February 23rd to 25th, 2024) to exchange ideas, and learn more from the 350 exhibiting companies. The event will deal with, among other things, a fair value chain, sustainability, business aspects and agri-photovoltaics. Separate thematic blocks will focus on organic production, the cultivation of pears and digitalization in the specialty crop sector.

Commercial fruit growing, distillation and agricultural technology: the 20th edition of Fruchtwelt Bodensee is creating new impulses regarding these subjects. The Lake Constance Fruit Growing Days program, with renowned speakers from practice and science, is largely organized and put together by the Lake Constance fruit region, the Lake Constance Fruit Growing Competence Center (KOB), the Bodensee District District Office, the Allgäu-Upper Swabia Farmers' Association as well as the Bodenseeobst market community and the Württemberg fruit cooperative.

Speakers and exhibitors at Fruchtwelt Bodensee 2023. Clockwise: Jens Stechmann, Chairman of the Federal Fruit Growing Group and Federal Fruit and Vegetable Committee; Hans-Jürgen Filp from BayPack, the representative of the Bodenseeobst eG market community and the Seefrucht team.

The opening event and subsequent panel discussion will feature some top people: Agriculture Minister Peter Hauk as well as representatives from the fruit growing and sales side will look at where the adjustments are along the value chain for sustainable, regional fruit production. The Federal Minister for Food and Agriculture, Cem Özdemir, will give a public address on Saturday.
