From January to October of the current year, the country imported almost 52,000 tons of citrus and exotic fruits

China, Pakistan, and Turkey emerged as the primary suppliers of mandarins to Kazakhstan

In the first ten months of this year, Kazakhstan imported 51,095.4 tons of aromatic citrus fruits, valued at USD 34,579,800, as revealed by statistics shared by the Committee of State Revenues of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Notably, there has been a growth in citrus fruit imports, with 15,882.5 tons worth USD 12,878,000 more than in 2022.

Mandarins have seen imports of 44,356.7 tons, amounting to USD 30,422,700 in the first 10 months of 2023.

Oranges, among the most popular citrus fruits, were imported this year with a weight of 6,738.7 tons, valued at USD 4,157,100.

In addition to China, Pakistan, and Turkey, Kazakhstan also receives fruit shipments from Colombia, Côte d'Ivoire, Mexico, and Turkey, contributing to the diverse array of exotic fruits available.
