The Fruit Growing Conference, will be held on January 17, 2024 in Poland during the Fruit and Vegetable Growing Fair - TSW 2024. This event is a good opportunity to learn about the latest trends and challenges in the fruit growing industry.

During the conference, a number of key topics will be discussed, including economic and agrotechnical aspects of growing apple, pear and cherry trees. Discussions will focus on "Horticulture challenges 2024", with an emphasis on alternative cultivation methods and analysis of market trends.

The conference will look at economic issues, examining future fruit farming models, methods of reducing inputs and looking for savings without sacrificing quality. We will also consider the apple varieties
that currently offer the best prospects for profitability We will also discuss the issue of apple scab, which surprised fruit growers in the 2023 season, and discuss methods of storing apples and pears in the 2023/2024 season.

The conference will also be an opportunity to discuss modern approaches to growing cherries and pear trees, especially in the context of the last season. During the 14th edition of TSW, they will pay special attention to the voices of the young generation of fruit growers who share their experiences and challenges related to taking over a family farm.

The last, but equally important issue will be the impact of fruit import on Polish fruit growing and a discussion of myths related to it.
People are encouraged to take part in this conference to deepen their knowledge and share experiences in the field of horticulture.

The Fruit Conference is one of nine conferences they have prepared for TSW participants. The TSW Congress and the extensive list of exhibitors is an important event for fruit growers and vegetable producers in Central and Eastern Europe.
