Over six thousand tons of mandarins were imported into Russia over the weekend

The import season for new harvest mandarins is currently in full swing at the border crossings of the Krasnodar Krai. The past weekend, Russia received 337 batches of fruits, totalling more than 6,400 tons.

The majority volume of deliveries came from Turkey, with 270 batches weighing 5,912 tons entering through the Novorossiysk seaport and three batches weighing 63.6 tons through the Tuapse port. Additionally, products from Abkhazia were also received. For instance, at the Adler checkpoint, 62 batches weighing 467 tons underwent phytosanitary control and were released into free circulation.
