Sindh farmers are focusing in on the dragon fruit market

After successfully harvesting costly and unique dragon fruits for the first time in Sindh, progressive farmers believe that exporting dragon fruit varieties could potentially transform the national economy if done on a large scale.

Furthermore, it has the potential to be a game-changer in coastal areas of the province, including Karachi and Thatta, where the weather is conducive to the growth of this fruit.

There is currently no export in the country due to high demand in Pakistan, and the fruit is not readily available. While exports will take time to develop, they could significantly impact the national economy due to high demand and rates.
