Luonnosta Finland Oy and Phil Rayner are excited to announce the establishment of Luonnosta UK Ltd. Luonnosta’s strategy for several years has been to develop international business and strengthen networks worldwide. Now the time was right to take the operations to the next level with a subsidiary in the UK.

The business will be managed by Phil Rayner, who has nearly 20 years experience and connections in the UK potato market across all sectors. Phil is excited to start trading fruit and vegetables together with the Luonnosta teams already established in Finland and Holland.
With the new subsidiary, Luonnosta will gain presence in one of the most important fruit and vegetable trading areas in Europe. The addition will open up daily business within the UK and allow opportunities to import and export products.

As well as UK sales, the expansion of the Luonnosta network brings exciting new export opportunities to the British vegetable growers, as Luonnosta already trades with customers in 17 countries.”
Luonnosta Finland Oy is a Finnish trading company in the fruit and vegetable industry. The company was founded in 1986 and is owned by potato farmers. About half of the turnover comes from export, import or trading outside Finland, and our contact network reaches from all over Europe to Middle East and Africa. Our main trading products are potatoes, avocados, onions, carrots, cabbages, beetroots, sweet potatoes. Luonnosta are proud to have a partnership with a large group of growers from Tanzania selling avocados exclusively to Luonnosta for both the conventional and organic market.
Phil Rayner started his career in 2003 and has over 19 years of experience in the potato industry from factory operations management, to marketing and trading. Phil has an excellent network of customers concentrating on delivering the right quality at the right time, and works proactively to find the best return for new and existing suppliers.
