The Nergi® mini kiwifruit, a Sofruileg-protected brand, will start its marketing campaign in a couple of days (August 20) and run until the end of November.
Volumes and quality: 2023 looks promising
"If weather conditions remain favorable until harvest, volumes of marketable fruit will be significantly higher than in 2022", says Sofruileg. "10 million 125g trays are expected this year", adds Jean-Pierre Caruel, which will be distributed by authorized commercial operators: Primland (France), Ortofruit (Italy) and Portprimland (Portugal).

A marketing plan to boost sales
An advertising plan will support the 2023 campaign. While the little fruit has made a name for itself in the German market, which is now its biggest market, and in Scandinavian countries, consumption in France is still low. Nergi® will be promoted on social networks, and will also benefit from in-store campaigns.
