Visits to greenhouses, wholesale markets, exporters, and cold storage facilities

Dutch fruit and vegetable trade mission to Turkey: October 24 to 29

After the 2021 and 2022 trade missions, the Dutch Chamber of Commerce Foundation is, in collaboration with RAAD International, eagerly embarking on an exciting new trade visit to Turkey.

"We cordially invite the Dutch fruit and vegetable sector to join us from Tuesday, October 24 to Sunday, October 29. Economic growth and business developments mean there are more opportunities in various sectors. Let's discover vibrant Turkey together," says John van Wijk, RAAD's CEO.

Program (Izmir - Manisa - Bursa)

  • Official welcome by the board and a visit to the Bursa Commodity Exchange.
  • Visits to local agricultural areas, greenhouses, exporters, and cold storage facilities.
  • Visit to the Bursa City Market/Kent Hali (wholesale market) with growers, suppliers, exporters, and importers.
  • Pre-booked one-on-one B2B meetings in various cities.

"During the trip participants will have access to a wide network of Turkish business people and trade facilitation organizations. Experience has taught us that you can make interesting contacts and trade exchanges with fellow travelers."

"Participants can also specify the type of businesses they want to visit. They thus meet targeted parties and gain new insights into the Turkish market's possibilities. One thing's certain: it will be a fantastic trip with - besides business activities - plenty of time for social interaction and sightseeing," John concludes.

This all-inclusive commercial program will set you back €2,650, which includes flights, hotels, local transport, guides/translators, lunch, and dinner. You can coordinate specific requirements during your personal interview.

TDTC (Turkish Dutch Trade Consulting) in Istanbul and RAAD International will be on hand to organize, advise, and facilitate.
