"What is important is to always look ahead, yet without forgetting the history we are celebrating," stated Valente, a company dealing with technical solutions for vineyards and orchards located in Campodarsego (Padua) as it celebrated its 60th anniversary with an event held at Villa di Montruglio in Barbarano Mossano (Vicenza).

Over 300 people attended on June 15th, including many foreign clients and operators. Guests were welcomed by brothers Alberto and Alessandro Valente.

"Our father Pietro was a producer and decided to build the cement posts he needed for the new vineyards himself. Everything started from this and, 60 years later, we are still ready to tackle market challenges. People's tastes change, as do the geopolitical situations and the climate. Protect crops has now become a priority," explained Alessandro Valente.

"We focus on sustainability which, in our company, goes hand in hand with concreteness. We have adapted technologies and procedures that enable us to reduce the consumption of methane gas by 50% and to save water and raw materials, starting with recycled material. We have just activated a 500 kw photovoltaic plant," adds his brother Alberto

In front of many foreign guests (from the Netherlands, Canada, France, Spain, South Africa, Armenia, Ukraine, Portugal, Austria, Greece and Romania, to name a few), the Valente brothers announced that the new post manufacturing facility in Spain will become operational in less than a year.

The event, coordinated by the journalist Roberta Paolini, started with the messages sent by Paolo De Castro (member of the European parliament) and Luca Zaia (president of the Veneto region). The Mayors of Campodarsego Valter Gallo and of Borgoricco Alberto Stefani also attended.
