The latest innovation when it comes to the automated management of fertigation in protected crops went on sale a few days ago. Nido One V2 is the updated version of a tested system that has been made more efficient and high performing.
"Our automated management system is installed in only a few minutes: it only takes two holes in the nutrition solution tank to connect the greenhouse. Our system is simple, efficient, and its cost is contained, compared with that of any other technology on the market," reports Andrea Carloni, manager at Nido srl.

According to Martina and Andrea, it's compatible with all other existing hydroponic systems. "It's ideal for all soilless crops, and it controls and maintains optimal nutritional solution ranges, also managing pH and fertilizer levels. The system is suitable for small and medium-sized greenhouses from 1 to 4,00 square meters." Nido srl is located in Cattolica, in the Rimini province (Italy).
On April 12th, the brand-new version of Nido One V2 was launched on the market, capable of managing 10 to 10 thousand liters of water. "It's the definitive solution for the advanced automation of crops. With its capability of managing fertigation, climate, and greenhouse devices, it helps optimize cultivation in a simple and precise manner. In just a few minutes, Nido One V2 transforms any existing cop in a state-of-the-art automated system that complies with the standards of agriculture 4.0."
Nido One V2 is compatible with all hydroponic and aeroponic closed systems featuring a water tank of 10 to 10,000 liters. Unlike traditional line fertigators, Nido One V2 connects directly to the nutrient solution tank, and, thanks to the digital pH and EC sensors, it constantly regulates the quality of water.
It can be controlled via smartphones so as to keep the system always under control. "Nido is even more powerful thanks to the innovative Web App, which helps analyze all parameters and results."
Pre-set programs help even the less-experienced growers obtain the maximum from their crops: you just need to set the 'recipe,' and Nido takes care of providing nutrients to the crop to maximize yields with the minimum inputs.
