The central Mexican state of Guanajuato maintains its national leadership in the production of lettuce, with an annual volume of 138,000 tons. The most efficient are the municipalities of San Miguel de Allende, Juventino Rosas, and Dolores Hidalgo.
“For more than a decade, Guanajuato has remained the first place of lettuce production, and without a doubt, it is a crop that brings us a great economic benefit and for which we are recognized nationally and internationally.
