According to the information issued by Veritrade, a platform specialized in foreign trade, Camposol was the first Peruvian agro-industrial company to make a commercial shipment of pitahaya by sea to Europe (Rotterdam, Netherlands). This first shipment was made for a total of 15 tons. In addition to having also made air shipments of this fruit to the same destination.
“It has been a work of many years that allows us to start exporting a new crop like pitahaya. We are sure that it will become well known and quoted by our buyers. The company has been present in the European market for more than twelve years.
Peru has also been granted access to export dragon fruit to the United States, starting Q3, 2023.
