In Goa, mankurad mangoes are currently sold at Rs 6,000 per dozen. In view of this, it can be said that the Mankurad variety is currently beyond the reach of common people. Last week, a dozen yellow juicy mangoes of the Mankurad variety were sold at Rs 6,000 in the Panaji market. This comes down to Rs 500 per mango.
At present only a few people are selling Mankurad mangoes. But when the season starts in full swing, the entire market gets flooded with these mangoes. At present, many other local varieties of mangoes are yet to enter the market.
