IG International starts joint venture with Agrograde

IG International and Agrograde have agreed to form a joint venture, IG Agrograde (IG AG Agritech Pvt. Ltd.) with the registered office in Mumbai. The joint venture will facilitate clients with various services, such as the selling and leasing of fruits and sorting and grading machines for the fresh fruit industry in India and internationally. 

IG Agrograde is being formed to solve some of the major problems faced by fruit producers around the world using state-of-the-art technologies. The team behind this venture has a deep understanding of the problems faced by the producers which reflects through their extreme focus on improving access to advanced technologies and providing unrivaled technical support. 

IG Agrograde will empower thousands of producers by improving their operational efficiency and helping them supply high quality produce to their consumers. This JV will be a prime example of “Made in India, Made for the World” in the agritech ecosystem. The fresh produce industry is witnessing a massive technological revolution with the increasing adoption of Artificial Intelligence and robots, and IG Agrograde plans on being one the key contributors to this revolution.

IG Agrograde plans to offer solutions for apples, citrus, kiwifruit, grapes, dragon fruit, melons, mangoes, strawberries, other berries, and all other fruits.
