Automatically captured digital assets deliver transparency and traceability

"Content of each individual carton is photographed and analyzed before shipment"

DiMuto is building one of the world's first blockchain and AI-empowered solutions that independently generate fresh produce quality control data and analyses it. Its system, supported by blockchain technology, delivers objective and consistent QC inspections, real-time visibility, and a superior quality control management experience. The company's quality control solutions give clarity to each trade transaction, down to the level of each and every single carton.

The company has invented a solution where integrated into the packing line, and a photo is automatically taken of each open carton before closing.

In an organized manner, this photo is uploaded onto the blockchain, which makes the information time sensitive and immutable. This is only a first step, however, in an integrated process that will eventually not only include a global market place but also sales, financing, insurance, document, and marketing services, all empowered by DiMuto.

Set-up that enables Dimuto platform to take photos of the content of each individual carton at the farm or packing house

Gary Loh is the company's CEO and founder: "DiMuto simplifies every step of global trade – from produce, trade to market, we provide sales, marketing, operations, financing, and insurance tools so businesses can trade better. By capturing the data, we can demystify global trade, simplify operations for greater efficiency and establish winning outcomes for all stakeholders."

He continues: "the solution that we invented is solving data blind spots, helps avoid quality issues and settle trade disputes. To start with, at the farm or packhouse itself, the system automatically takes pictures of each and every single box. And let me reassure you, the system is not difficult to install. After uploading the digital assets created, which are the photos that were taken just before the box was closed, on our blockchain, we have artificial intelligence analyzing the information."

"With this method, we help to solve data blind spots all the way at the start of the trade: before the goods leave the packing house and at the box and carton level. We make sure that everything that is shipped out has a product passport. We provide data that helps to see and trust the different parties involved in international trade, and we can check the quality from the packing house all the way to the retail store. Our AI software helps to analyze the color, sizing, and blemishes of the fruit. Before buyers and traders, and retailers place an order, they know the specs of the product they want to buy. What we can provide is the knowledge that whatever is shipped out meets the product specs that the buyer is looking for, reassuring customers and stakeholders," explains Gary enthusiastically.

Dimuto's digital solutions enable different parties to avoid having disagreements by providing product transparency and traceability.

And only recently has the company widened its service scope. Gary continues: "We have created the DiMuto marketplace, where the full supply and traceability systems are combined in one online platform, easy to navigate by users. Buyers can place a full purchasing order and, with full traceability, follow the product coming their way. And we are looking ahead! Now banks often shun perishables because our trade comes with high risks. We help to mitigate these risks by providing visibility and data. Our next step will be to add financing services and help to create cashflows for the suppliers. We can assist the trade in overcoming these risk factors."

Asia has a large consumer market that is growing year-on-year. New suppliers continue to enter this market. DiMuto can be a solid and reliable place to start a new business.
