Quarantine phytosanitary control of fresh tomatoes from Azerbaijan carried out in the Moscow region

Since the beginning of January 2023, the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance for the Moscow and Tula regions have inspected about 80 vehicles and carried out quarantine phytosanitary control on more than 1.3 thousand tons of fresh tomatoes that arrived in the Moscow region from Azerbaijan.

Specialists of the All-Russian Center for Plant Quarantine (FGBU "VNIIKR") conducted laboratory studies that confirmed the compliance of these products with quarantine phytosanitary requirements.

After successfully passing the quarantine phytosanitary control procedure, the tomatoes were released for free sale.
