New lever of development for the packer-producer

France: Pomliberty welcomes Vitalis as a shareholder

Arnaud Lambert and Pierre-Henri Coo, the respective directors of Pomliberty and Vitalis, have announced the collaboration between these two key players of the potato and onion market. Taking a minority stake, the Vitalis group will now be represented in the shareholding of the Atipic* group, the holding company that oversees Pomliberty in Ham and La Ferme Neuve at the Mont Saint-Michel.

“For Pomliberty, this acquisition of a minority stake is a new opportunity to develop its activities while remaining true to its values and commitments, which are also shared by the Vitalis group. The arrival of Vitalis in the shareholding of the Atipic group will ultimately help us continue our projects without impacting our day-to-day activities. We will be able to go further and faster in our development strategy, and this is a strategic and reassuring opportunity,” explains Arnaud Lambert, president of Atipic. “This new step in our history will allow us to perfect our best practices and create bridges for product sourcing while maintaining the freedom of action (freedom to undertake) that characterizes us.”

La Ferme Neuve in Normandy and the “packer/producer” profile of Pomliberty in the Picardy region are an asset for the Vitalis network, which is eager to expand its territorial coverage. The group will now strengthen its proximity to the agricultural world in the heart of the main French production areas.

Thanks to their complementary positions, the two groups will be able to pursue their respective developments by creating new working synergies. The sector is undergoing strong changes which are easier to face collectively in order to meet the challenges ahead.

*Atipic, presided by Arnaud Lambert, was created in 2021, when La Ferme Neuve was acquired.
