"We're the first to market fruit grown without nitrate contamination for two consecutive years"

Isaura Navarro, the Valencian regional minister of Agriculture and Ecological Transition, awarded Frutínter a quality mark for being the first company in the world to market fruit grown without nitrate contamination for two consecutive years. The award ceremony was also attended by Roger Llanes (Director of the Valencian Agency for the Promotion of Agriculture and Horticulture), Pedro Beltrán from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Manuela Yllera (Certification Manager at Food Rina Iberia ), and Alfredo Martínez (manager of Wtech).

"The company implements agriculture 4.0, i.e. intelligent agriculture to ensure that our citrus crops only receive the amount of nitrate that they need. Excess nitrate is harmful to the environment because it causes pollution in groundwater aquifers."

"We have specific sensors on the farms that allow us to know in real-time the precise needs of the crop. We use agriculture 4.0 to provide the plants with the water, nitrogen, and potassium they really need, allowing us to adapt both irrigation and fertilization to avoid producing any leachate that can pollute the subsoil."

"We at Frutínter take care of people's health and the planet, so we are pioneers in sustainability and smart agriculture. We market quality products that come from a crop committed to the environment."
