In the Netherlands, ZON and the Telersvereniging Kompany have jointly been auctioning cucumbers since January. This partnership has been further expanded to include the supply of fall tomatoes, which will be available at ZON's auction starting this week.
"This collaboration means, together, these growers' associations can optimally serve their customers. Especially now that much of the Dutch lit cultivation has fallen away," representatives from the organizations say.

This week, ZON also started selling Spanish butternut squash, celery, and white pointed peppers from Morocco.
