In London, there’s a shop in Walthamstow that is dedicated to selling Pakistani and Indian mangoes all year round. Mango shop Neelam Fruit & Veg, owned by TM Ahmed Group, is considered a must-visit for visitors of this part of town. It’s a community staple and has been selling delicious mangoes to East London customers for the last 15 years. It’s survived on selling purely mangoes for more than a decade and only recently introduced other fruit and veg to the table around five months ago.
The shop’s mangoes are so in demand, Neelam Fruit & Veg has another shop only a few doors down that sells even more mangoes because more is more in this case - it also happens to be decorated in an attractive shade of sunshine yellow. But what makes these mangoes so different and popular, is the Pakistani mangoes sold on site which happen to be the best in the world.
