As a start-up from Angers, Aptimiz could not miss SIVAL 2022, especially since it was awarded a new innovation trophy, the SIVAL Innovation Bronze, for its integrated solution of time management Man-Machine in agriculture. This trophy is a guarantee of added value for producers in the crop sector and highlights the entire Aptimiz offer, i.e. a solution that automatically measures the entire time spent by men and machines on any type of farm or agricultural production without any data entry. Without changing his daily routine, the farmer can access the distribution of his work hours, those of his teams and machines, over the year, for each of the farm's products, either on the plots of land, in the storage or office areas, but also for business trips. It's a real management tool!

"The issue of working hours is a cross-cutting one, which affects all the agricultural sectors. These types of specialized production are often labor-intensive and time-consuming. Today, there is a real need to address these issues. By participating in SIVAL, we want to enable more producers to optimize their work hours, their mechanization costs, and improve access to real traceability of interventions in a simple way, since everything is automated. It is this synergy that allowed us to take the trophy," reports Armand Sachot, President of Aptimiz.

How does Aptimiz measure the work hours of its users?
To measure the amount of time spent working by its users, Aptimiz uses a smartphone application that automatically determines the amount of time spent by the various farmworkers in each of their activities. A sensor version of the application (the AZ21) is available for seasonal workers or those not equipped with a smartphone.
Finally, machine tracking is enabled by Aptitrack, a Bluetooth tag that interacts with the app or sensor to determine the use of different equipment in logged activities. All the time spent traveling between the different areas of the farm is of course taken into account for a complete analysis of the organization.
The data is then accessible daily on a web interface, in the form of a variety of dashboards. The manager can thus monitor his operation by integrating these notions of time into his thinking. Whether it is to optimize the planning of each person in order to gain efficiency, to integrate precisely the costs of labor and mechanization in the production costs, or to anticipate the needs of an upcoming worksite, Aptimiz provides the precise information needed by the manager. A real traceability tool for interventions without data entry, providing peace of mind and accuracy on the farm.
This dynamic can be found on all types of farms and for all types of production, which has led to Aptimiz being awarded 4 innovation trophies, in different agricultural sectors, since September 2021.
