Fellini Patrizio started selling asparagus a few days ago with the produce coming from protected crops in Campania and will continue with that from poly-tunnels in Apulia.

"Asparagus tips are processed, finished and packaged in our facility according to various client requests," explains co-owner Emile Fellini.

Asparagus tips are available in 200 gram packets, in R-Pet trays with lids, flowplacked or in cardboard trays. There are multiple options and the "Io Riciclo" (I Recycle) crate is environmentally friendly.

"These asparagus tips are popular because they are ready to be cooked, so consumers only purchase the tender part," stresses sales manager Lamberto Giovanardi.

But there is more: Fellini is currently also transplanting fennel at Azienda Agricola 67 located a few hundred meters from the facility. "We extended the cultivated area and, this year, we will grow 1.5 million fennel plants."
