In early 2020, HMI Logistics, a transport company based in Perpignan, opened a logistics platform on the Strasbourg market. The fruit and vegetables from the south of France are stored there.
The main goal of this platform is to reduce the delivery delay for fruit and vegetables which are transported from the south of France to Alsace-Lorraine and the German border. In October, HMI Logistics will open transport lines to several new destinations.
“This month, our refrigerated trucks will cover the Strasbourg - Nancy - Metz line twice a day. Each night, there will be pick-ups and deliveries in Strasbourg, Colmar, Mulhouse, Belfort, Besançon and Dole,” explains Jérémy Hachemi, president of the company. “We offer a very complete service for all fruit and vegetables, via quality control, sorting and preparing of the orders. We also offer grouping options.”
Jérémy adds that in order to take full advantage of these regional flows, HMI Logistics is open to new partnerships. “We are also looking for new drivers to increase our activity.”
HMI Logistics is part of Mondial Fruits, the import-export company for fruit and vegetables. The company has branches in Castelsarrasin and Perpignan.
