Agro Merchants opens Dutch QC Bureau inspection site for fruit and vegetables

Currently, Agro Merchants are offering the opportunity to facilitate Dutch Quality Control Bureau inspections in Maasvlakte, the Netherlands. Interested parties can have containers immediately inspected for phytosanitary standards. This is done near the Rotterdam container terminals. These interested parties include importers, expeditors, and others.

Stop ’n Go’s, in particular, can be done. Here, the driver remains with the container until the inspection is completed. The container - already cleared through customs - can then be delivered to a specific address right away. The new inspection site is entirely focused on fruit and vegetable control.

This new inspection option fits in well with the work the Agro Merchants Maasvlakte team already does. They have their own veterinary Inspection Center (IC). It will be further expanded this year. That is being done to keep up with the market's increasing inspection demands.
