Artevos GmbH presents the latest catalogue of varieties at Fruit Logistica 2020

Tasty fruit varieties for modern commercial fruit industry

From February 5th to 7th, 2020 Artevos will be exhibiting at Fruit Logistica in Berlin at booth A-03, hall 21. This year, the variety developer will present several modern fruit varieties. These varieties will give the visitors a small foretaste of the Artevos assortment:

Gooseberry Laprima(s) - the hairless
Everybody knows of it, nobody likes it: Hair on gooseberries. Gooseberries are often a difficult topic in terms of appearance, taste and cultivation, especially for direct marketing. But it is precisely these characteristics that make the new and early gooseberry variety 'Laprima' shine. It has large, hairless fruits and convinces with its excellent fruit quality and its wonderful gooseberry aroma.

Currant Haronia(s) - the bright red mildness
By comparison, the 'Haronia' has an exceptionally mild aroma because it has less acidity. Due to its sensational shoot performance, this currant has high yields, e.g. 30 percent more than 'Red Lake', with a very good fruit quality, which also makes it particularly suitable for storage and transport. The colour of its bright red, long clusters with large berries remains stable even when very ripe.
