Tarn-et-Garonne: "The white asparagus is here"

On the banks of the river Tarn, just outside of Lafrançaise, the white asparagus harvest started three weeks ago. There, the white asparagus grows in a soil and climate that suit it perfectly. 700 tons are produced each year.
