For the first time in its history, the REWE Group achieved total external sales of more than 60 billion euros: In the past financial year of 2018, revenues increased by 4.7 percent to 61.2 billion euros. Business in Germany, as well as the international business of the trade and tourism company from Cologne, contributed to this strong sales growth. In Germany, sales grew by 4.5 percent, abroad by 5.2 percent. As a result, the foreign share of total external sales of the REWE Group increased slightly by 0.2 percentage points to 28.7 percent.
